ALL CARS will be in the designated inspection area with drivers and pit crew and checked in prior to 12:00 p.m. on Demolition Derby Day. The entrance shall be closed at 12:00 p.m. All cars not checked in by 12:00 p.m. MAY be disqualified and entry fees forfeited. The drivers meeting shall be at 4:00 p.m. Inspections will begin at 8:00 a.m.

I further understand and agree that if I fail to comply with any of the above, as determined by contest officials, to include Elks officials or inspection team members, I shall be disqualified and my entry fee subject to forfeiture to the Blackfoot Elk’s Lodge.

I further certify that demolition contests of automobiles by their very nature are such that they expose persons and property to extraordinary risk of injury for which the driver assumes all risk. All participants, to include drivers and pitmen agree to indemnify and to hold harmless B.P.O.E. Lodge #1416 and all members the same, as well as all other persons, their agents or employees, and including the Eastern Idaho State Fair from and against all claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of negligent and intentional acts involved, or any acts, omission or conduct in the preparation of and/or undertaking of the demolition derby.
